She does love her candy. I stocked up on easter stuff at 75% off. They've been getting lots of candy bracelet bribes. That's just pure joy right there.

We see this face quite often,
And this one too. Usually acompanied by ewww, stinky, gross or some sort of potty humor. That's four alright.

This song never fails to get stuck in my head. And really I only know this line so it just keeps playing over and over.
"I went to the animal fair, the birds and the beasts were there, the big baboon by the light of the moon was combing his long dark hair..."

That was us on Sunday, we went to the Zoo! I really don't like them so I 've tried to just avoid letting the girls know about them but well, peer pressure and all that.See this guy? They have a litlle petting zoo area. He prompted the picture below.
Do you know what that look is? That's her best "please Momma may I have a goat?" "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaase?" Works pretty well doesn't it? Not quite good enough though!
Meri and Daddy liked the "baby horses", I'm pretty sure that fence is there for a reason. I guess Nathan didn't think so.
And that's about it. Because when you go to the Zoo, this is about all you see.
Our zoo is really, really small. No elephants or lions or anything like that. Their favorite part was the petting zoo. My favorite part was the free ice cream. They were celebrating Earth Day with a little festival and Ben and Jerry's had a booth set up. Bless their green liberal souls.
Oh, and can anybody tell me where my baby went? You do realize she'll be TWO in less than a month, don't you?

For real this time

Hurray for real Easter pictures.
I've been getting some complaints lately. This is a two way street people. See that little comments section down there. That's your job a good blog viewer, it lets me know you love me. Otherwise, I'm just writing to myself. I had one very enthusiastic poster for awhile but she had to go and get a fabulous new job that blocks me. Hmph.
In other news. Guess what we found? My wedding ring! It was on the floor of the car, which is very strange since we cleaned it out when we left TX. I'm assuming Evie put it in something and it just fell out. So I was thrilled!
Also, I had to make it official today that we'll be homeschooling E next year. It was hard to check that no box on the form for preschool because they have been so good to her. Aside from feeding her pop and cheezits that is.
What's that you say? You didn't know we were going to homeschool? Whoops. Well now you do, how totally non confrontational of me to tell you via the faceless Internet.
And about that picture of Josh. Well lets just say that I'll teach him not to smile for me, although I happen to like it - I'm not just being mean. I was going for a hip grunge look, but ehhh I think it just looks like there is mold on the wall. We had a really great Easter. The egg hunt was hilarious b/c the eggs were in full sight but the girls were so excited that they couldn't find them. Lots of yummy food and good times.

Meredith Easter

I was going to Evies pics today but .. brrrr! We woke up to some chilly weather, I've actually got the heat on. I do have some others that's aren't the extreme headshots but they're not as much fun to work on!

We're back. After a long exhausting week it it so nice to be home! I'm telling you, I did more work on my Grandparents move than I did on any of my own moves! Of course, I took lots of camera breaks, to the point where I do believe my cousins( who were already doing more than me) were ready to disown me. Here are just a couple I did really quick, it is way too pretty to be on the computer!

Somehow I messed this one up and I don't really have time to redo all the pictures, sorry if they overlap or anything and they got put in the wrong order.
This is what we did yesterday, Meri is fascinated with these applesauce containers! Who needs toys, right? They like to go shopping in the pantry which then led to the "put the applesauce down the shirt game"
She does like her doll too but only if Evie torments her with it first. And Evie? Well all she needs is her horses.
After our little fruit fest we headed into "town". There's this wonderful covered carousal at the riverfront park. Evie would not ride the horses - she had to ride in the carriage so she could look at the horses. Meri rode this frog that went super high and they didn't have straps so I conquered my motion sickness and stood protector. It was the fastest one we've ever been on which actually made it somewhat easier for me. After that we walked to a local ice cream shop ,Clumpies and then walked across the river on the pedestrian bridge and down by the aquarium. They have the wonderful sculptures and this really neat sort of fake stream park. It's wonderful how child friendly Chattanooga is, I guess that come with the whole tourism package. the loved the bridge and Nathan go to laugh at me freaking out wondering if Meri could fall through the railing or of the boards were rotted through. I don't have a picture of the bridge but its huge, makes me pretty certain we're not going to tackle that new bridge in Charleston anytime soon! Tomorrow we're off for TX so no posts for awhile. I might try to get a couple more pictures up before we leave but right now my laundry and suitcases are calling!
