Juliana 9 weeks

She had a check up last Friday. 11 lbs 12.8 oz and 23 1/4 inches.
She is rolling over from front to back and loves to stand up on your lap. She got in the jumper for the first time yesterday. She's got some amazing smiles and will wiggle her body in excitement if she recognizes you. She also started to bat at toys hanging up in her car seat.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane?

No. It's super baby!
And her super sisters.

Fighting for truth, justice and the American way.

camping on the hottest weekend of spring while mam has a cold - with a 6 week old

It was so blasted hot the weekend we went. Except for sunday morning at breakfast, I love the pullovers and nightgowns. This was a couple of weekends ago, a sort of frantic, spur of the moment trip that led to much driving around looking for a place to sleep. We ended up in an army corps campground that was pretty lame. Just a little beach, no trails or fun things to do. The site was a really small patch of land mostly taken up with the parking pad and a monstrous pebble gravel parking pad. Ask the girls about it and they'll tell you it was the best trip ever. I so wish I could have a kids outlook again!
2nd trip of the morning to the potty.
3rd trip of the morning to the potty
the only fishing we did
Feeling a little lazy this a.m. - you can turn your head, right?
Daddy cooking bfast. Or the reason why Mama had to walk girls to the bathroom 3 times in 20 minutes.
Mmm smores! They almost made the whole weekend worthwhile.
She can nap anywhere!
It's boring here.... I agree girls! Next time we'll go somewhere better!

We're Back!

Did you even miss us since I scheduled posts for while we were gone?
What a whirlwind the past two weeks were. We had a wonderful time in IL and then came home to celebrate Rosie's birthday. Now we're gearing up for Charleston trip. Whew! I'm wondering if Moms ever really get a vacation?

Our nifty new toy

A pull behind bike for Rosie! It's had the added bonus of teaching Rosie how to peddle, something our children seem to find difficult to grasp. We now officially look like a parade. Evie on her bike, Daddy and Rosie on their contraption and me pulling Jules in the trailer. I've actually only pulled the trailer once and it was on a trail in the middle of some woods, so no freaking out about the babe biking.

Jules overload.

Alternate title: Mama got a new lens and Jules can't escape. Yet.

So you won't have to look at strawberries for the next week!
Little bitty feet and a big cloth diapered bum - too cute!

It's May

And that means strawberries! We're amazed at how well they transplanted from the garden into a pot. Now to keep the girls from eating ALL of them!

Jules would like to know what this green stuff is and why she's touching it!
